Good luck and please let me know if it works. This may or may not apply to Photoshop and or CS3 or what ever but give it a go. Ive installed PS elements on my new PC, but I cant use it before I deactivate the serial number. Also, since you purchased from Amazon, you would probably have been given a redemption key. If you are merely on the Home Screen or in the Organizer, the serial number is not required. OK said the tech, you will need to download and install it, even if you don't want it just leave it in the applications folder. They signed out and off my Mac so I downloaded and installed Creatine Cloud then Downloaded Adobe Photoshop Elements and guess what. You should be prompted to enter the serial number once you open the Editor. For more information, see Find the serial number of your Elements product. No, I replied because I don't want it and would never use it. Check that you are using the correct serial number for your product installation. After watching their cursor navigate my screen for a couple of minutes, I was asked if I had ever dowloaded and installed Adobe Creative Cloud. After explaining what I had done and answering a million questions, I gave them permission to remotely interrogate my Mac. But the product does not appear under Order History, since we bought the CD in a box (I think from Amazon in 2015), and not from. I bought Photoshop Elements 14 and found it was for Windows, but I use a Mac and would like to get the Mac version or a refund. The order and serial number appear under My Products, because we registered the product when we purchased it.

When I tried to open Photo Editor a window kept popping up saying that the there was an error with the download. I located my serial number and activation code from my Adobe account and proceeded with the download. I needed to install Adobe Photoshop elements 2019 which I had been using on another iMac, (My Wife's).
